The highest point of the municipality is located in the Serra da Cabreira, more precisely in the Alto das Torrinheiras, at 1197 meters of altitude.
The Monastery of São Miguel de Refojos de Basto, also referred to as Convent of Refóios, is located in the parish of Refojos de Basto, Outeiro e Painzela, municipality of Cabeceiras de Basto, district of Braga, in Portugal.
